The worst service and because I’m voicing my frustration I’m told I am rude. I should have trusted this reviews and they tell my I’m clever when I told them that your reviews have proven what a bad service you do. Had a major service of R3K and two weeks later my car had issues of losing power. I took the car back in since the invoice advised of the 6 months warranty. Was advised that the gearbox needs to be stripped and upon that being done, another 12k bill came for clutch plate, flywheel etc. I have the go ahead and was assured that everything is fine. 3 days of using the car the engine light comes up and now I voice my frustration and being told that if the engine light is on it’s not the ir problem or what the car came for. What is the purpose of the mechanic and now I must return my car for the 3rd time after spending 15k for a basic Polo. You already undercharged on the fly wheel after I flagged the outrageous price of the clutch plate. The price of the flywheel is 9k at Polo and you charged 2k, was that even changed? Thanks for nothing Bosch carnival city and the fact that you call us smart and clever when we speak out and flag your poor reviews. You should really re visit your quality of work and client interaction.

I took my mother's car(Jeep Renegade 2017 model) to Bosch on Monday because there was an oil leak. They did a diagnosis on it and told us there's no leak, but the car was mixing oil and water and that we needed to replace the car's entire cooling system. We decided to fetch the car yesterday, and they told us they would send the receipt as well as the diagnostic report. When we call, they don't answer, and we had to call using a different number before they picked up. They told us they would forward it before the end of the day, and we still haven't received it. When I told them I was fetching the car, they told me to wait an hour while they prepared the car. Now that we've fetched it on my way back, when driving the car, it felt different, it felt weak, it wasn't responding the way it normally does, and the brakes weren't responding as quickly as they normally do. I'm concerned they might have damaged her car. I'm not mechanically inclined, so I wouldn't know what they did, but I've driven that car for over four years now, and I know exactly how it feels when driving it. Also, on the day I took it in, they told me my battery was faulty and that they had to jumpstart the car, but I remembered that I had recently bought the battery in October last year, and I had to call them back, and they told me they called the wrong person; they meant to call some guy who came with a VW. If they don't send the report, then they should refund our R1000. Secondly, they should fix whatever they did to make the car what it is now. We observed that there are many complaints about them, and they already have a horrible reputation. If they don't attend to these issues, we will open a case against them and make sure they are on every newspaper outlet and social media platform. How many people are supposed to have their cars damaged before they do the right thing, because it seems like it is now a norm for them to damage other people's cars?

I am extremely disappointed with poor service that I received from Bosch Carnival Auto, on the 29th of May 2026. The vehicle had an engine fault light and was leaking both water and oil. They kept my car for 3 days and, I was informed that the repairs had been completed. However, shortly after collecting the vehicle and driving it for only a few minutes, it became clear that the original problems had not been resolved. I returned the vehicle to the workshop, where it remained for several more days. Unfortunately, this process was repeated multiple times, with me having to return the vehicle because the same issues persisted. Despite several attempts to repair it, my vehicle remains unfixed. The reception staff don't know what to do anymore and the owner/manager stopped taking my calls. The car now has more fault lights than when I took it there and the owner is telling the reception staff that I need to take it somewhere else because the car has electrical fault. I paid a significant amount of money to have my vehicle repaired, expecting the problem to be resolved. To make things worse, the vehicle has more warning lights than it did originally and I have also been informed through the reception staff that the owner now wants me to take the vehicle elsewhere because he believes it has an electrical fault.

I booked my car for service on the 4th of June 2026, while I was on the phone trying to do the booking the guy told me he has to hang up he will call me back which he never did, I called again later that day and told him I called in the morning and he said he will get back to me, he said he was sorry he forgot, we did the booking I dropped off the the car on Friday afternoon as our agreement and explained to him that besides the service I need them to check the car for me land give me a quote of everything that needs fixing of which they agreed. When I left the car the just told me it's going to cost R3500 for the service because it a major service of which I didn't have a problem with .then they gave me a form I filled it in and that was it no quote no nothing. Saturday morning they called me and told me the car is ready I told them I'm not around but will arrange for someone to pick it up Monday morning. Monday morning the 08/06/2026 i sent someone to go pick up the car when he got there they asked him for the invoice, he called me and I spoke to the lady explained what happened she said ok she will find out what's happening, they eventually gave him the car before he left he called me and I spoke to the lady that was assisting him again and asked her to give him the invoice and the quotation I asked for, she told me she will send me via WhatsApp. They never sent a thing around 15:00pm on the 08/06/2026 I called them again and asked where is the invoice and the quote as they still haven't sent the lady told me she will find out as they are busy but I'll get the whatsApp before the end of the day of which never happened. Today 09/06/2026 at 08/39am I called them again asking them for the quote and the invoice that they said they were gonna send before end of business day the day before and again the guy assisting me said he was going to find out and he will call me back.

I'm so upset — i paid R6,750 for a major service on Saturday, and by Monday the car was dead( 2 days apart)Then they charged you another R11,000 for a belt, alternator and battery, even though they said they’d checked the battery on the 23rd. And now the technician is saying “the car is not his” and refusing to explain.

I am disappointed by the way this situation was handled. An employee who brought his own toolbox to work was dismissed, and his toolbox was left outside the workshop without his knowledge or consent. As a result, several tools went missing. Personal property should be treated with respect and secured until arrangements are made for collection. This reflects poor management practices and a lack of accountability. Regardless of the circumstances surrounding an employee's departure, their belongings should be protected and returned in the same condition they were received. I hope management takes responsibility for this incident and implements better procedures to prevent similar situations in the future.

I took my car on the 5th May for service. i parked my car for 7 days as i flew to CPT on business trip. when i came back to drive the car, there was red oil light. there was no leaks in the garage. i had to put 1 pint of oil to see if there will be a change. indeed the light went off after the 2nd pint of oil. and it showed that i must put more oil. i went to the garage, and met a tall coloured guy who was very rude. he didnt even tell me his name, and he dsnt know the owner of the garage where he works. i left my number with him for the owner to contact me and its 2 weeks now without any call. i need Bosch Car service head office to take this matter up further. i have taken picture of the dashboard as proof.
