On the 18/12/2025 I visited another well known auto repair center regarding multiple repairs to my air conditioner, starter, passenger side door lock actuators, lights and a steering vibration, on a used vehicle I had just purchased. The auto repair service center did diagnose all of the faults on my vehicle but was unable to carry out the repairs due to the current jobs they had and advised that in mid January 2026 to come back. I thereafter visited Bosch DNA on the same day as I always used them for repairs and service to my Haval as well as my wifes Kia Picanto. On arrival I stated the above to them and made them aware of the faults and the diagnoses provided to me by the previous repair center and was told to book in the vehicle on the 19/12/2025. I returned to book the vehicle in on the 19/12/2025 to begin the repairs to my vehicle. I called in later on in the afternoon and was told that they were still very busy with other vehicles and had not looked at my vehicle as yet. I was then advised to come collect my vehicle and that because they were closing for festive I should contact them on the 05/01/2026 to make another booking. I called them on the 05/01/2026 and was told I could bring my vehicle in on the 07/01/2026. I took my vehicle in on the 07/01/2026 and thereafter it was the worst experience I have ever had. I had to call or Whatsapp on their channel daily for updates and was told that they were still working on the quote as they were unable to source parts. I only received the quote on the 13/01/2026, six days after I had booked my vehicle in for repairs. The quote was extremely high so I decided to get a second quotation from Bosch Springfield which I requested at around 16:30pm on the 13/01/2026 and received the quote the next morning 14/01/2026 just after 08:00am. The quote received from Bosch Springfield was roughly half the price of that which I had received from Bosch DNA auto center. I then sent the second quote that I had received at 08:37am on the 14/01/2026 to Bosch DNA as they state on their quotations that they have a price match policy and can beat any BOSCH Service quoted prices if you can provide a detail quotation for repairs on a quotation. Again I had to chase Bosch DNA for an updated quote, and was advised every time that they were trying to get discounts from their suppliers. I had only received the updated quote on the 16/01/2026 which was only around R400 cheaper than originally quoted for. Therefore they did not honour the terms stated on the quotation document regarding beating alternate detailed quoted pricing received. Based on this principle I decided not to go ahead with the repairs at Bosch DNA as I had wasted 10 days already with them. I asked that I collect or have my car dropped off as I would be taking my business to Bosch Springfield to carry out the repairs as i had booked the car in for 20/01/2026 but was advised that parts of the car had been stripped. I then queried why this was done as I had already given them the diagnostics and was under the impression that work would only begin once I confirmed quotation and parts were available. I was given the reason that they have to confirm the diagnoses of faults I had provided which was in fact correct. I was only able to collect the car on the 19/01/2026 as parts on the car had to be reassembled. When I collected the car it was brought out front and I was just handed the keys and no handover inspection was done with me. When I got to the car I decided to inspect and noticed *****s and a broken clip lying around. I then asked the lady at reception to call someone to inspect the car with me. A technician came and I showed him the *****s and broken clip and he stated that he had "found" it in the cubby to which I responded never because there was nothing loose lying around. I then noticed a gear for the air conditioner lever was on the floor well of the front passenger side. *****s were missing for a cover that goes under the cubby, the cubby door is loose and rattling, a boot that covers wiring going from the passenger door through the frame of the car and into the dash was just laying loose and not *****ed back. A rubber gromet/cover that goes onto the passenger door that covers the door lock is missing. the door pad is completely loose and is coming off the door when pulling the door from the inside to close. Looks like door clips were not put back. Components of the door pad is loose, trim around the door handle is missing. The technician went into the workshop and brought back two *****s. One to ***** back the boot covering the wiring on the door and on for the cover under the dash. The *****s replaced are not correct and there are still more *****s missing. On the back passenger door on the floor well there was a ***** laying there, the window switch on the door pad is loose. Components of the door pad is loose. My corner indicator lamps are now misting up because they were checking a wiring/faulty light issue. Rubber gromets where found in the engine compartment and I do not know where the came off from. This is really poor service from Bosch DNA AUTO CENTER if I can even call it that. I was so upset I just wanted to take my vehicle and leave and that is what I did. Ironically Bosch Springfield carried out the repairs exactly to the diagnoses on repairs originally received, the parts were readily available and no issues with pricing. My car was only with them for a day and all repairs were completed. Right now though I am sitting with the inconvenience of the broken and missing parts on my vehicle which went into BOSCH DNA intact and came back to me with missing and broken parts. This is a painful learning experience that has costed me time and is still costing me money as I now have to fix what YOU BOSCH DNA AUTO CENTER HAVE BROKEN. "REALLY DISAPPOINTED" with the service received from you guys is an understatement and I feel I need to Admonish your company. I will be taking all three of my vehicles to Bosch Springfield going forward. You have LOST a LOYAL CUSTOMER Forever and I will be shouting from the mountain tops of my "**********" experience I have had from YOU, in order to prevent others who might be thinking of using your services which may prevent them the pain and frustration they are about to experience.
