I would like to report one of the Fresha Partners: Born Bea.uté (Located in Klerksdorp (Wilkoppies), North West)

On 20 January 2022, I received an email from Bea Bellingan with an invoice for the following services:

1x Bridal makeup & Trial: R850 5x Brides****s makeup: R1750 2x Mother/Grandmothers: R600 Travel fee: R288 For the wedding of Carli Kruger and Donovan Fritz on 10 December 2022 at the Ourief venue in Potchefstroom.

Payments were made for the full invoice, and the last payment was made on 23 September 2022.

We arranged for the bridal trial to take place on 13th of November 2022, which did take place.

On the 13th of November, Bea mentioned for the first time only that she would need to start with all the makeup at 06:00am on the 10th of December 2022 at the Potchefstroom venue, which I then confirmed would not be possible as we could only check in at the venue at 10:00am.

The following day, I received a voice note from Bea asking if I have spoken to the venue for us to start at 10:00am or alternatively book another guest house for the day to book in at 06:00 for her to start.

I once again confirmed that the venue’s check in is only at 10:00am and no guest house would let us check in at 06:00am on the 10th of December 2022.

I have then asked Bea if it would not be possible for her to get an assistant the day to assist her with the makeup for us to start earliest at 10:00am. She then responded by saying if she gets an assistant, it would be to accommodate me, and not her, and since I am not willing to start at 06:00am she will not accommodate me with getting an assistant for us to start at 06:00.

I have also asked if we cannot reduce the package to the bridal makeup & trial if there is no other way, which she then confirms would be possible, however I would not be refunded for the brides****’s makeup and mother/grandmothers’ makeup that I have paid for.

Bea also mentions throughout the communication that we had an agreement, which I do not agree with as from the onset 20 January 2022 – 13 November 2022 she did not discuss or disclose that she would need to start with the makeup at 06:00am.

Bea also confirmed that she has already bought the makeup that she was going to use on the day of the 10th of December, which I also do not believe as she has not seen the brides****s or grandmothers to buy the makeup or discuss any makeup styles that they would like.

I have since then cancelled my services with Born Bea.uté and requested that I get refunded for the traveling fee, brides****s’ makeup and mother/grandmothers makeup for the day, or alternatively receive the products which I have paid for which has not been used.

Born Bea.uté refuses to give any refund, which means I have paid for R2638.00 worth of services and fees that have not been delivered.

I have not received any sort of T&C from Born Bea.uté from the 20th of January 2022 up until date 22 November 2022.
