Current Status (May 2026): Vehicle returned after 43 months Returned condition: Engine stripped, components disassembled, not roadworthy Refund ordered by MIOSA has not been paid Verifiable Facts: MIOSA Case 504527/LM: Determination issued 18 March 2026 in my favor Supplier not RMI accredited – confirmed by RMI via email (9 June 2025) CIPC records show annual returns overdue since October 2024 Pattern of broken commitments documented over 43 months Active Proceedings: National Consumer Commission: Section 71 complaint filed (failure to comply with ombudsman determination) MIOSA confirmed non-compliance via email (13 May 2026) Advice to Consumers: Verify RMI membership at www.rmi.org.za before engaging any workshop Request written completion timelines and part serial numbers in writing Keep copies of all payments and communications This review is based on verifiable regulatory records and my personal experience.

- Returned in stripped and damaged condition (engine fully disassembled, new damage to back seats that did not exist at handover, multiple components missing).
- MIOSA issued a determination on 18 March 2026 (Case 504527/LM) ordering return of the vehicle and full refund.
- Vehicle was returned, but the refund has still not been paid.

- MIOSA confirmed ongoing non-compliance via email (13 May 2026).
- Supplier is not RMI accredited (confirmed by RMI email 9 June 2025).
- CIPC records show annual returns overdue since October 2024.
- Complaint filed with Gauteng Consumer Affairs (Ref: GAU/***).
- Section 71 complaint filed with National Consumer Commission for failure to comply with MIOSA determination.
- Business continues active Facebook advertising (22-23 May 2026) promoting engine repairs, DSG specialists and trustworthy service in Wierdapark.
- Verify RMI membership at www.rmi.org.za before handing over your car.
- Always insist on written quotes, timelines, and progress updates.
- Take detailed photos of your vehicle before handover.
- Be extremely cautious with large advance payments.
