Waiter's demanding tip

Waiters feel that they are entitled to a tip. Just been there about an hour ago. Did not feel like the service we received deserved a tip. When the waiter came to give us a tip, he actually demand R40 tip, changing his demand to a "request" after asking him to clarify. What makes it worse is that he then says that another waiter refused to serve us because I said the same thing few days when I was there. This is despite the fact that previously, the same waiter punched a wrong amount, but my and wife laughed, and said it was her lucky day, and gave her a tip that we did not intend to give. Then a few days later, I did not give her tip, but took time to explain to her why I did not give a tip. In response, she then said to me they are only paid on tips at Bootleggers. Same waiter had received generous tips from me and wife in the previous times. Not only are these waiters behaving as if they are entitled but they a nerve of discussing customers and refusing to serve customers because those customers do not give them tips. This Bootleggers will never see me there again. Other Bootleggers like Irene Mall Boootleggers, Mushroom Bootlegger, and Bootleggers at Umhlanga CBD next to the Pearl Hotel - have a good service - but Design Q's has waiters that think they are entitled.
