Poor contract policies

Beware of sketchy billing practices, one signs a contract for a certain period of time, but at the end of that time they continue to bill you even if they know (and they do) that you are no longer coming into the gym. Yes, it states this sketchy policy in the contract, which can only lead one to believe it's done on purpose to create slippage to charge customers for longer than the contract for which they signed up. They track closely who is coming int to the gym, but stay silent when they KNOW you aren't coming, but that your contract is still paying on auto draft. Why else would they make contracts for time periods and then continue them month to month?
