Unlisted booking

I made a booking on booking.com, I received an email with confirmation and directions, when I got to the place in Sandton I called the host for keys, and she was surprised because that place has been off booking.com for over 7 months. I called booking.com and struggled to go through for over 30min, and when I finally got through I was told that I can cancel the booking but will get my money back after 7 days, I don't have a place to stay, no money to book somewhere else, it's late, have kids in the car, not fami**** with the place, it was such a bad experience, kept recalling for assistance but no 1 helped even after 3 agents. Its their fault that yhey had a place thst is no longer available but they couldnt take responsibility,Not having a call centre for assistance in country is just making things worse. I hope I get my money back.
