Unhelpful and *********** customer service

I am the owner of an small establishment in south africa. With the booking.com website guests can make bookings to my establishment without the need to pay a deposit. From my experience practically all the guest which did not make a deposit payment upfront did not pitch for there booking wich is bad for my business. This was taken up telephonically previously. The sugjestion to the problem from the consultant was that I should emidiately after a booking was received sent the guest a request for a deposit payment to confirm the booking and give them a deadline to pay the deposit. As I am unable to remove bookings on my website the comment was to sent customer service an email to remove the booking from my calendar. I received a booking on 1 Aug, and sent the guest an emidiate email requesting the deposit to be paid by the 02 Aug at 12h00. No deposit was received. An email was drafted to customer service to remove the booking stating that no extra time should be given. A few moments ago the first responce from Michael Precht was received to say they will give the guest anothe 24hours to pay the booking, however the responce is almost two days later from my request to cancel the booking. Therfore according to him the guest will have time to 5 Aug at 19h00. Which in essence mean my callendar will be closed to any other bookings and as weekends are my peak times I will loose business. He was very rude to me and said that I am able to cancel the booking on my website, can someone then please provide me with the detail. He also asked why the payment was not charged but if he did read on my setup I do not have a credit card facility as my establishment is to small. I only receive cash payment or EFT payment from guests. I am not happy to be treated in the way I was treated as I run a reputable establishment with a guest rating overage of 9.4 at the moment. Can you please advise how we will deal with this kind of situations going forward??
