Unacceptable booking.com

I am absolutely furious about my recent experience. After saving up for months to spend December with my kids, I booked through Booking.com, hoping for a comfortable and safe stay. What I arrived to was nothing short of a disaster. The place was filthy, there was no cupboard space at all, and the fan was old and rusty. The mattress had no springs, making it impossible to sleep comfortably (they did replace it after I complained, but that was only after I had to raise the issue).

To top it off, there were no burglar bars, and I’m on the ground floor right by the road, making it incredibly vulnerable to break-ins. As a single parent, this is not just inconvenient, it’s dangerous. This entire experience has been completely unacceptable, and I will never trust Booking.com again. Moving forward, I’ll be booking privately, as I have done in the past, to avoid this level of disappointment and frustration.
