Thirty Seconds Guest House...Bunch of ********!!

Pathetic and disgusting service I got from both booking.com and Thirty seconds guest house in Randburg Ferndale. I booked for 3 night and did an online payment immediately after the booking, I went to the establishment to check in after attending a work function later that night. I arrived at the place, called the host as there was no sign of life in the property, the host then told me to wait at the gate whilst he calls someone to assist with checking in which resulted to us waiting outside for an hour still waiting. I called the host again numerous irritated, which he ended up switching his phone off and we had to eventually book at another nearby place. Tried going back to the venue the next day to check in again and still got no assistance whatsoever. The establishment then claims they had cancelled my booking the next day and will issue a refund which till to-date nothing has happened and it has been 3 weeks now. Tried sorting out the matter with booking.com but that also turned to be a futile exercise as they did not help me at all.
