THIEVING COMPANY do not use them

I made a booking through them for ST Helena Island and the hotel was the same name and I booked it (error was that this hotel was in the USA and not on ST Helena Island. I realised immediately and phoned and emailed booking.com regarding this error. They said they would assist and get a hold of the hotel (St Helena ********** They then told me I must now contact them directly. I tried to get a hold of the hotel but could not. I then emailed booking.com and Vincent said he would assist me with this. He has disappeared and now I get an email from Mayra to say they will not refund me! They have now taken a further amount (so I have paid twice -amount in excess of R12000.00 and they saying they do not refund. I am shocked at booking.com as I have used them before and now they have ****** double the amount of the booking that I cannot use and I have now had to cancel my trip to ST Helena Island as I have been ****** of R12000.00 from booking.com. I warn people to not use booking.com as they are *******.
