Terrible service = Booking.com

On 3 May I booked (paid and got my booking confirmation) a flight for my daughter and I from Johannesburg to George for my sister’s wedding on 12 Aug. It would’ve been my daughters first flight and she was very excited. I am a single mother and could only afford a certain amount, this is why I started to look for flights early. On 23 July I wanted to check the check-in time, when I searched our flight number it said that the booking was cancelled. I phoned Booking.com to check what happened. All they could say was that due to a technical error our booking was cancelled… and i will be refunded. In a panic I started looking for flights. The only flights i could get costs way more than I could afford. Very poor service from Booking.com. Will definitely not use them again.
