STAY AWAY FROM BOOKING. COM

Made a booking in Sandton at Mount Royal 44. Got there to find another person in the unit due to a double booking. The owner Brad who rents out various units on the premises did not answer any of my calls or sms. We had to book into a hotel. Booking.com refused to assist as Brad confirmed my stay at the premises. i have used Booking.com for many years. No longer. I wish i had checked their reviews earlier to see how pathetic they are rated. STAY AWAY. They are only interested in their commission and do not care about customers. That is why you simply cannot reach them in case of emergency. Their system just blocks you or you have to wait 24hours for a nonsensical response. Bodirectly with the listed accommodation.
