****ed on booking.com

we booked through booking.com in december 2021. when we got to our destination the house did not exist.we called booking.com over the next 2 hours where they assured us it would be sorted. the number and the house were *****ulant and never sorted the issue out-it was 18-30pm and we had no where to stay.the next day an email was sent that the dates were not available...disgusted and will not use them again.what does booking.com do to verify a listing.all they talk about is safe guarding the renter who looks after the rentee??????
