I booked for 1 night in midrand at a place called glen haven 20 March 2026, when I tried to checkin the host was not available, on the app messenger on booking.com and neither did the cell number provided work, so I could not checkin, when reading through reviews I realized that this host has done this several times unfortunately I didn't see this when booking, I canceled reported this and waited assuming booking.com would handle this professionally and have this host dealt with accordingly, only for me to find out that they take your money and actually don't care about they guests or they safety. So my money was taken for a booking that wasn't available, how is this fair ? I want my funds refunded.
