Refund required EDEN VILLA Mauritius

I’ve recently travelled abroad, in my last 4 days I had to change my flight and return back due to the poor accommodation that was advertised for a premium price, I got back home I called bookings.com requesting a refund they refused to give me my refund as they say the owner needs to approve. The owner is refusing to approve. Now I need to go through the lengthy process of filing complaints. I asked them why don’t they vet the places before advertising they said they have 1000s of properties and it will be impossible to vet all. So they rather advertise and disappoint people.
