Refund delayed

i made a booking with booking .com for a stay @ white rock lodge and an amount of R823.65 was debited immediately from my account and shortly after that a lady from the property call to say their full booked and i should go back to booking.com and cancel, she then promise my money will be refunded back in to my account in the next 7-10 working days. its been over 3 weeks now and haven't receive my refund and when i send booking.com for a follow up since no one was communicating with me they told me, i should wait for another 7-10 days. this is BS and really ****ed about this whole situation cause it inconvenience me on that day cause had to borrow money to book another place and now this.
