Poor service

Made a booking via booking.com payment done all of a sudden I received an email requesting me to cancel the booking as the place was booked already,according to them it was booked before me,fine I canceled it only for them to tell me all get my refund after 7 to 12 days and all be charged for cancelation my concern is how are they expecting me to find another place and with what am I go to pay with they are not answering my messages
