POOR Communication - fully paid booking at Nqubeko Vilaa in Umdloti cancelled without proper notice

I made a booking for 5-7 July 2024 in February already and paid IN FULL at Nqubeko Vilaa in Umdloti (this was my birthday weekend) I had another booking from 1-5 July in KZN and wanted to contact the property to find out if we can check in early - only to find that they sent me an email on the 3rd cancelling my booking. I had to get alternative accommodation for MUCH more expensive and had to change my flights costing me even more money. Furthermore the property new it was my birthday weekend as I was in communication with the prior to this. They did not even try to phone me or send me a whatsapp or sms (they only sent an email - who is looking at your emails when you are on holiday) I did not imagine this happening in my worst nightmares since I have already made FULL payment in February 2024 already
