Poor booking service

I made a booking and traveled Over 9 hours to get the Destination and there was no reservations. After being in contact on the message system all the time confirming I was coming and everything was in order. I then had to rebook another holiday that cost 4 x more then the accommodation I booked. There was no help or contact from booking.com only once I went to confirm my reservation and it not being valid, I received a cancelation email. Very unprofessional.
