joalene D 6 reviews | Active since Oct 2020 04 Sep 2026 at 11:44 How safe is your personal information I booked a holiday at Shark Island Guesthouse in Luderitz Namibia via Booking.com for myself and my husband. I then made another booking for my brother in law and his wife at the same place. The Friday before we checked in both myself and my brother in law received messages to confirm our booking or they will cancel. My husband told mecto wait he is going to check with Shark Island Guesthouse as when we clicked on confirm they wanted our banking details. He called Shark Island Guesthouse and they said we could pay at the property. This message contained all our details name, surname, check in date, check out date and the booking numbers My brother in law was not so lucky he had clicked on confirm and entered there credit card details it then showed declined so he clicked confirm again with the card details. When he went onto his banking app R6O65 went off the 1st time and R31000,00 the 2nd time. Neither booking. Com nor Shark Island Guesthouse is willing to assist us in this matter.
