Perfect site to ruin a special occasion

Biggest joke out there. I have booked TWO holidays on this site ,both long in advance. One for my wedding anniversary and one for my husband's upcoming birthday. Both were supposedly confirmed according to the site and both were in my "upcoming trips " segment on my login profile on their site. On both occasions the actual accommodation establishment I had booked for had zero knowledge of my booking. My wedding anniversary was ruined as I had to frantically book at a sub-par guest house last minute and my husband's upcoming birthday is now a disaster because the establishment has zero record of my booking and they Are fully booked. Thank you booking.com for ruining yet another special occasion.
