Pay back my money

I made a booking through them and paid,so i had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances,they don't want to repay me a whole R12800, claiming that the property must reply emails,the property rep**** more than 1 email and still nothing is being done while if you call them they keep you on hold for more than 30 minutes.Please assist me to get money back.
