Overcharged on a booking

I am disheartened that I booked a trip and I was overcharged and I was not given an explanation as to why that happened. Instead the consultants keep taking me back and forth on my MONEY!! My hard earned money! I am keeping my booking but can I just be payed back the overcharged amount of over R800..Please help me!!!
