No customer service

Im so fedup with booking.com. I booked a place in greenpoint and chose the option to pay later but they deduct the payment immediately, what is the point for the options then. Now i cancelled the booking wich is a month and a half away and still want the full booking amount as cancellation. I really dont understand this and please people, dont book on booking.com as they give false information
