No assistance from booking.com

We booked through them last year before the covid pandemic, so i understand that they could do anything by then all was on hold, but once the levels changed i conversed with them. They keep on giving me the number for the place but the number is not working. I feel since i booked through them they must handle the issue, but since i liaised that with them i have had no response. So i am really not happy at all as i have paid and nothing is happening refund or new date whereby i dont have to pay extra
