Never using booking.com ever again

Wish I could give 0 stars to this pathetic website. We booked accommodation at Soul Village Self Catering Retreat. The pictures on booking.com are not a true reflection how the venue looks today. On arrival we had to wake a woman up who was sleeping on the couch outside. She never spoke a word of English and there was no supervisor around for us to properly check in. We phoned the number provided by booking.com and it went straight to voicemail. Needless to say we did not stay at this venue. I have been waiting since the 24th of September for a refund from Soul Village Self Catering Retreat and have been in contact with booking.com “customer service”. They are just as useless and *********** as the accommodation they advertise on their website.
