NEVER BOOK ON BOOKING.COM IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE ****MED.

I have never came across such...I booked through booking.com at Arcon park guest house and paid online. When we good there we realised that the pics on the site is old pics because the place needs to be renovated, the rooms advertised are not the same as on the site they look like a house keeper room. But we accepted since we already paid...later on another couple arrived apparently they booked the same room as ours but before us...the confirmation details on their side was the same as ours the only difference was the contact number our booking has the wife of the owner's number who tells us that only her husband has the booking.com app where confirmations are sent then the husband shows us some app that our names are not there then tells us that we have to go back to booking.com for our refund since booking.com took our money. At around 6pm we had to go and look for another place where we can go and sleep since he said we can't check in there. When I cancel the booking. I get an email telling me my money won't be refunded since the venue dies not do refunds...so just like that m ****med my money since the owner said he won't refund me because I didn't book there and booking.com tells me I need to go back to Arcon for the refund.
