Morocco ****!!

I went to Morocco for the AFCON booked accommodation via Booking.com from the 28th- 1st Jan. Arrived at the accommodation & got to a open field with no accomodation whatsoever. Called the number linked to the Apartment a guy answered and said he’s not aware of any apartment nd that his been receiving calls for this specific apartment which doesn’t exist .. I tried contacting the host nd received no response. I made contact contact with booking.com that same day they told me an agent will contact which I’m still waiting on one to contact me up until today! .. I called them when got back to SA. Only for them to tell me that I was suppose to contact during check in Time which I did ! Now they telling me they not getting hold of the host because the host is not replying..

I don’t see how that is my problem bcus the host never ever reached out to me. ! I was stranded & had to make alternative arrangements & now they telling me they cnt refund me bcus I had to contact them during checking in .. I am highly disappointed! & would not recommend booking with them !!

How do you jst verify an apartment not knowing whether it’s legit or not !
