MISLEADING INFORMATION

I made a booking on booking.com. On the booking information it asked for my card details, not for payment, but to confirm the booking. It actually says the payment will not be processed. But when I received the confirmation, the money went through my account. I had no problem with it, because I wanted the booking done. I just think its rather unprofessional, ********* not to say downright dishonest to mislead the public like this. Why ever bother to even say it? If I am not ready to commit to a booking, why will I bother to look?
