****mers!!! All my money gone for nothing.

We booked into Kariri Lodge through Booking.Com, and paid the full amount. When we arrived on the Friday night, nobody knew about us, or the booking. The person we found there said he does not control the bookings and they have removed their property on bookings.com about 12 months ago so they don't understand why their property still appears on the bookings.com website. We contacted booking.com, and after numerous communication we were told that "the venue had already been paid ". So no refund, no apology. Shocking that this is allowed to happen. I would NEVER recommend Booking.Com to anybody.
