I too was a victim of the cyber attack on Booking.com where I got a message on their app from the lodge to verify my card details, on 09 November 2023. I lost an amount of R7981.04. I immediately contacted both the lodge and booking.com but have been taken from pillar to post with none of them willing to take accountability. Booking.com does not even respond to complaints. How does one get their money back in such instances?
