I have booked a hotel at booking.com the name of the hotel is Hotel Montecarlo-Vista Mare con Area fitness when I was doing my booking I did search for hotels In Cape Town and it appears as hotel that is based in Cape Town I did the bookings from 24th-28th Jan and I did make the payment of R5000,to my surprise when I land in Cape Town on the 24th I tried to put the hotel name and street then it doesn’t show where it is I’ve tried calling them but I couldn’t get hold of them,I wrote them email asking for address then they send the address only to find out that the place is based in Italy 🇮🇹 and to my surprise I am asking them how is that possible you based in Italy 🇮🇹 but you appeared on Cape Town list and I also paid with Rands not with euros 💶 ?I asked them to refund me cos the Mistake was made from their side but instead they told me that they won’t refund me and I must make a plan of how am I going to make my stay in Cape Town.i am very disappointed and shocked by how can they talk to a client in such manner?I want my money back
