Lost of money

I made a booking with them for accommodation for 6 days. I had car problems and try phoning them to explain that we were going to be late no reply. I tried to email no reply. I lost all my money and had to get new accommodation for the remaining 5 days. Hippo said that they didn't get the money as it was shown as no show. I feel I must be refunded for the 5 days.
