Horrible experience booking through booking.com and Chesapeak bay

I have recently had the worst experience with booking.com. My booking was canceled without any notice at Chesapeak Bay . I was not given a reason why. I was told that their policy was that they could cancel my booking without notice at anytime. I was stranded and notified that the money I paid for the booking would only be refunded after 2 weeks. This is the worst place to book a holiday. They are ********* and have no concern for the customer.
