Horrible experience at Villa Zizi in Bela Bela

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Villa Zizi in Bela, 1 Highlands Wilderness, Bela Bela, from May 23rd till the 25th. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of our expectations. Upon arrival, we were disappointed to find the property in a state of disarray, with dirty floors and countertops that required immediate attention. We immediately had to switch from vacation mode to housekeeping mode. Despite our efforts to clean the space, we were further dismayed to discover stained and soiled bedding, as well as signs of pests and what seemed like a big dead furry creature under one of the bed’s pillows.

Additionally, the bathrooms upstairs and in the cottage lacked hot water, and the upstairs toilet was leaking. The lighting throughout the property was also inadequate. When we brought these issues to the attention of management, the response was unsatisfactory. The cleaning staff sent to address the issues appeared unprofessional and resistant to our requests for fresh bedding.

Regrettably, our stay also resulted in adverse health effects, with me and my friend experiencing skin irritation due to the unhygienic conditions. Given the subpar experience, we would caution potential guests to carefully consider their decision to stay at Villa Zizi. A thorough review of the property's maintenance and cleaning protocols may be warranted to ensure a more satisfactory experience for future guests.

To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.
