If you think you always getting your Genius discount, think twice. It will be displayed everywhere until u actually see the amount u paid and its excluding the genius discount amount. So instead, search on google for the same place and ask for a price match on that website, and use booking.com's price with the genius displayed(as that what is it is for some) as your proof of the amount, but book through the competitor instead of booking.com, as they wont offer the refund for their mistakes or errors. I believe one in every few people/or a few peoples profiles dont actually offer the genius discounts, but u continue to book through them as u think you paid the discount, until you see your credit card.
