Forex Fee Charged

Booking for accommodation was made. The amount was quoted in local currency ZAR and was paid. The charge turned out to be a foreign payment and hence my bank charged a forex fee. This is not noted on the web site when payment is being processed. This has been taken up with Customer Service and I continue to get a response saying that I must contact the property directly (three times). This is a total abdication.
