False advertising
I booked accommodation at the Tides inn 2 weeks ago via booking.com and received this email yesterday : Good day
Thank you for your booking at the tides inn. We look forward to having you stay with us.
Just to confirm the room that you have taken is room 6 -No Sea view this room has a view of the car park, unfortunately I don’t have any sea view rooms left so I am also unable to move you.
See you soon
We hope to see you again soon and hope you had the most enjoyable relaxing stay with us.
Many thanks
Kerri

My response:
If I was informed of this earlier I would not have booked your B&B-this is absolutely unacceptable as it’s my birthday and my partner is flying down from Johannesburg where all she wanted was a sea view-she is 73 years old and has a problem with her knees. We booked your establishment based on the pictures, the sea view and the short distance to the beach-besides false advertising you are informing me so late that I won’t be able to cancel and find alternative accommodation!!!! I will definitely be putting this on Hellopeter-our little pekingese also has arthritis and is semi blind-all this factored into our booking with you!!! The booking is for the 6-8th October
