Double paid accommodation no refund

I booked an holiday at StayEasy Maputo on the 12th September to 15th September 2024.I paid immediately and received my confirmation of booking via email. I was charged on my credit card for a booking. On arrival at the hotel they told me needed to pay because the Booking.com does not pay them directly. I had to pay the money I did not have on the spot. I have tried to contact them regarding my refund both via email and telephonically with no kind of help whatsoever.
