Double booked

I booked a guesthouse in Bloemfontein to stay overnight through booking.com just to find out the guesthouse is fully booked Got the booking canceled after 2 days And will be refunded in 7 to 12 working days Not acceptable, I'm on holiday and had to pay for another overnight accommodation and you can only refund me after 1 to 2 weeks
