DON'T USE BOOKINGS.COM

I am very disappointed in bookings.com in overall. I've booked a place (blouberg), they've canceled, had to rebook another place and pay more (Neo and Ruks) They cancelled so I had to book another place and pay more again (M5).. I drove there anyway to go find out what the problem is as I was around the corner already. Had a road trip from Johannesburg to Cape Town. The place is not up to standard. Can't be called a bed and breakfast. ***** area. Horrible place. Don't know how bookings can advertise places like that on their website. Dangerous and dirty and just horrible. All 3 times I've lost money as they deduct bank charges every time cause it's an overseas again. That is BS! Eventually ended up staying in Sun1 Hotel in Parow. Bookings.com said they will give me a refund on the extra cost but got nothing. Horrible experience. Will NEVER use Bookings.com again. They don't know what the places look like that they advertise as they don't go there and they mention anything on their site that there would be two payments when booking through them. You budget one thing and then they just take more.
