Don't use book.com

I booked accommodation in Cape Town for the week 4 - 11 February, I arrived at the guest house Cape Palm Royal just after 8pm. Worst experience ever!!!! We were told that our room was not available and they had "organized" alternative accommodation for us, when we refused to go to this alternative accommodation they said there was nothing they could do for us. We threatened to go to the police and they basically didn't even care, they told us we are welcome to do what we want. The place was full of foreign nations, we felt unsafe and were forced to book alternative accommodation at 9pm, I tried to cancel the accommodation and they want to charge me R3000 for cancelation fee, this is crazy! Booking.com I want my money!!!
