Don’t touch Booking.com

A stranger copied pictures off of property24 and loaded my home on the booking.com website. It came to my attention when three men came to look at our home whilst my daughter was home alone. Booking.com would not remove the listing after spending 6 hours trying to get through, then begging due the potential threat to my daughter, nor after I advised them of the high crime rates in South Africa. I ended the call telling them if anything happened they would be responsible. That was on a Saturday, and on the very next Wednesday the same vehicle they came with was seen on cameras entering the area at 1am, after which we were broken into whilst my daughter was still home alone and they stole various contents and our car before our security managed to get here. I called to speak to management to advise them and they have never had to courtesy to call me back. Do not use them as they allow false guest houses to be loaded and they don’t care for people whose lives they put in jeopardy.
