Dont ever use booking.com

I had the worst experience with this company ,i took a few days off so my wife and i could spend some time together. So we decided to go down the coast for a small holiday. I made a booking with booking.com the day befor when i was at work .Ther was no email sent to me and no contact. When i called the hotel they said the last booking was made 2 days ago. Yet i just made a booking and my account got debited. When i was emailing them they kept saying they cant find the booking . So where the hell is my money .My wife and i had to drive around port edward for about 4 hours looking for a place to stay and we finally got a place late at night . Please ppl dont ever use booking.com, you rather call the company and make the booking directly. I am still waiting to get my refund from this company ,witch i think is going to be another headache
