Contradictory information on Website

<p>I made a reservation through Booking.com on the 28/06/2017 for The Coach House Hotel in Tzaneen for the 20—22 August 2017.</p> <p>When I made the booking on line the booking system clearly said NO PAYMENT REQUIRED until 13 August 2017 and up to then there is free cancellation. Shortly thereafter a charge of R1998.40 was made to my credit card for ORION HOTEL.</p> <p>I reported this to my bank as a possible ***** and they promptly cancelled my card!!!!!!</p> <p>I subsequently spoke to Caroline in Booking.com's customer support who told me a prepayment can be taken off – fairly CONTRADICTORY to the Web booking that says NO CHARGE until 13 August 2017.</p> <p>You can know how angry I was at this – how am I supposed to know Coach House Hotel formed part of the Orion Hotel / Group?? Furthermore, I had to wait 5 days for a new card to be issued!!</p> <p>I have used Booking.com's service many times but no more! </p> <p>I further own a guest house which we have a Booking . com 9.4 rating which I am now going to review.</p> <p>I sent an e-mail to *** on the 29/06/2017 hoping to get some form of response. To this day no-one has rep****.</p>
