Conned for accom

I made a booking on booking.com this morning. I was booked in Sky Hotel, they said accom was available. Within a minute after payment, they declined the booking. They want to give me a 100% refund. However I am in CAPE TOWN with no accommodation. The refund now will take 7 to 10 days. It is a live system and I then wonder if they are just using my funds.
