Charging me more than 3x my ticket cost for a name change

Bookings.com is by far the worst place to book any of your travel needs. They want to charge me more than 3x my tickets price for a simple name correction. I have waited over 10 days for them to respond with a service fee of more than 3x my ticket after a back and forth between them sending me directly to the airline and the airline sending me back to them. In future I will be booking all my flights through the airlines directly because having bookings.com as your Intemidiary is about the worst possible outcome.
