Charged booking & cancellation fee

On 13 July 2022 I made a booking for accommodation in Essenwood in Durban for arrival on 15 July 2022 & depart on 17 July 2022. The confirmation gave me the contact details of the owner. I called him the next day & he said that it was in Morning side in Durban & not Essenwood in Durban. My concern is that does Booking. com have any idea as to where exactly the accommodation is & that the advert is correctly advertised on there site. They are based in Netherlands & do not have offices in SA. I cancelled with the cancellation allowed time & I was credited for the booking immediately but my credit card was debited by R 30.47 for a booking fee & R 30.47 for a cancellation fee. I was not informed that I will need to pay these fees when I booked. I emailed them & the email was returned as it was a no reply email address. Recently the competition commission fount that Google & these business were misusing their position in the advertising media & hindering transformation in SA
