Cancellation not honoured

Myconian little Village in Greece...never book this place as they are dishonest people. Bad experience. worst company for taking no responsibility for their service. They provide a platform but dont reprimand the property owners who uses it.

I send the a request to the property owner on the chat platform on booking.com. on 17 March 2026 about 9am SA time. I have not received feedback, this is disappointing given I made the booking and before any funds would have reflected i cancelled as I realised it was not in the correct country. Please assist me to obtain a refund.

On 17 March 2026 morning (c5:15am South African time), I made a booking in error, as I thought the location was Mykonos, Langebaan, Western Cape South Africa. I made the booking and payment but within 30 minutes initiated the cancellation when I realised the location was Greece and not South Africa.

The holiday was for a fun time with my family and unfortunately these okes did not see it that way and did not refund my money. Disgusted at property owner and booking.com as they did nothing to retrieve my money.
